How Much Can You Earn Through Google's AdSense?

One popular misconception about the Google AdSense program is that the portion of the payment that you get varies depending on many metrics. Some people worry that to get the maximum revenue out of Google you should only display adverts on high click through pages and adverts on pages that don't get clicked will reduce your portion of the payout.

This is wrong!

First, sign into your AdSense account and go to the My Account tab across the top. Scroll down to the bottom to Property Information section (right at the bottom of the page) and there is a declaration there as to the percentage of each click's cost that you are earning. And that is 68% on content clicks and 51% on search clicks. As you can see these amounts are fixed. So forget these ideas that you are punished if your click rate is low - that's for Google AdWords.

What is the earning potential? So for clicks on adverts within your content, you are earning 68% of what the advertiser is paying for that position. Therefore, maximising what they are paying is all that is limiting how much you earn per click. And for this we have to look at your niche. If your website is in a high paying market, such as financials, then a few dollars per click is not unusual and I have even experienced far more than that. However, in niches where there is not much advertiser competition you might be looking at $0.01 per click, or less!

If you are wondering where you fall in the scale then do a few searches that are relevant to your website and see how many adverts are appearing to the side of the screen.

After that, the only limit is your own traffic. The more traffic on your website the more opportunities of getting clicks. Well, sort of.

It is not just how many people are on your website, but what sort of people are there. If you have thousands of regular readers on your site every day then you might actually have a lower income than with a few hundred visitors finding your site every day. Regular readers are more loyal and less likely to click off your site than someone who is browsing and content to click around for a while.

Your site's AdSense earning potential There are three factors then that determine your income potential:

1) How profitable your niche is 2) How many visitors you are getting 3) Whether your visitors are mainly loyal, or passing through

Doing Nothing and Still Making Money Online

These days it is very bad not to have a web page for yourself. Some people run businesses from a website, some simply blog about their life and things that are happening to them, and some socialize. Some websites are useful and informative, while others are simply done for the owners' own vanity. The most common theme among almost every site is that, in one way or another, the owner tries to make money. One of the most popular ways of using a website to generate money is by using AdSense. AdSense is a program that allows advertisements to be displayed on your website, and there are different programs in which the owner of the website can be paid.

Once you set up your website to run AdSense, different advertisements will appear on the website in predetermined location, typically as a banner or on the sidebar. This allows the owner of the website to remain in control of the content, look, and feel of the page, as well as leave plenty of room for the ads to run.

AdSense is the term coined by one company in particular, however, there are other Web companies that offer the same services. If you have a website and are interested in running AdSense, or a similar program, definitely do your research. Check out what each services costs, their terms, rules, and other guidelines before making your final decision.

There are many people who have websites that serve no other purpose except to promote themselves. AdSense is a great way for people who are not selling anything on their website to generate money. Unless the website receives an abundance of hits, AdSense will not make enough money to eliminate another job. It will, however, become a source of income that may earn the website owner enough money in a year to allow the owner to operate their website basically for free.

If you are running a website for business purposes you can also use AdSense to make additional money. You can set up your website and run it as you usually do, and have the banners running that AdSense puts out. You will not only be making money from your business, you will be bringing in money from this wonderful package by Google. You will likely be making a good deal of money from this money making program considering that you will have a steady stream of visitors to your site. AdSense will not only pay your web page fees, it will bring in a little extra as well!

Google AdSense Tutorial - How Can I Increase My AdSense Income Today?

Many years ago, when I put the first AdSense code on my home page, there were no such thing as a Google AdSense tutorial. It certainly would have made my life easier, if there had been, and I could have avoided wasting months of almost no income. Better late than never, though, so here are some basic questions and answers that will teach you how to make money with AdSense.

Q: Does it matter, how I form the URI?

A: The URI is the address to your website, and yes, it matters a lot, how you form it! On my own site, I experienced a chance in going from less than a dollar per month to more than $10 per day, just by changing my URI into something better. Originally, I had an URI that looked like this: homepage.com/tip/256, and I changed it into showing the name of the article instead.

Q: I have the same title on all pages - is that okay?

A: No, it's not okay, if you want to make money with your site. Your title - as well as your headline - should reflect the keywords, you use in that particular article.

Be ware that your title doesn't show directly on your page. You'll only see it in the title bar of your browser.

Q: What colour should I choose for the borders around the advert? Black?

A: That depends entirely on the background colour, you've chosen for your site. You should choose the exact same colour for your borders - which would make them 'invisible', and that's the purpose.

The goal is to blend your adverts in with the text, and you do that among other things by avoiding borders.

Q: Should I always choose a white background for the ads?

A: Again, this depends on what colour, you have behind the ad. Pick the same colour for the AdSense unit as you have chosen for background.

Q: How about colours for text, title, and URL?

A: I recommend that you match the colour of your headlines with the colours of the titles in your ads. As for the URL's, you can either choose blue or the same colour as your headlines.

Q: Which size is the best to choose for the ad units?

A: Let's start with the worst. Don't ever choose the 468 x 60 banner sized ad, unless you have a very good reason to do so. I've found that the bigger the better. Go with the large rectangle or the broadest leader board.

Q: And where should I place the ads?

A: Take a look at your home page or blog. Where do you think people look, when they visit it? This is where you should place your ads. Always 'above the fold', which means the part of the site, people can see immediately in their browser, and always where they would naturally look, i.e. inside the text, in the menu, etc.

Google AdSense Secrets to Create More Money

There are many things that you can do in order to create more AdSense income from your website. In fact, you should always be testing and tweaking things on your website to ensure that you are optimizing the amount of earnings you make. Google even provides you advice and tips on how to make more money. There are also plenty of things that Google won't tell you. Here are a few Google AdSense secrets that I have learned over the last 3 years.

First and foremost, make sure that you understand all of the AdSense terms of service that you agreed to when you first signed up for the program. Breaking these rules and regulations simply to make more money can back fire in a short period of time. You may lose your rankings in their index or worse, they may completely ban you from ever being able to use AdSense again. Be smart and don't break the rules.

In all of my experiences, the blue links get the most clicks. So even though you want to integrate your AdSense ads to make them look like they are a part of your website, you should still always make sure that the clickable header links are always blue. I think that most people just recognize the blue color and make the correlation that they are in fact links and they will be more inclined to click on them.

The only way to make more money is to get more traffic to your website. Therefore, it is imperative that you take the time to optimize your website for keywords that will bring your website free traffic forever. Do keyword research to find out which keywords you should use on your website that will bring you free traffic easily and quickly.

Go after product based niches. The type of websites where you are offering advice, write-ups, and/or reviews about products will get a much higher click through rate than non-product based websites. Think about it. The person who finds your website will more than likely be searching to buy the product that you write about. When they see the AdSense links that are advertising the product they are thinking about buying, they are probably going to click on that link.

Try to buy the exact match domain URL if it is available. So, if your main keywords were "big blue widgets" you would want to buy "bigbluewidgets. com,.net, or.org. This will give you a big boost in the search engines and you won't have to work as hard getting your website to rank highly for "big blue widgets".

How to Make Money With Google AdSense - The Easiest and Most Effective Way

Making money with Google AdSense came be a tough thing to figure out. But in reality it is very easy. The method I will tell you about will not make you a millionaire over night. I wouldn't even say that you will be a millionaire in a year. Although, I will say that it can be done using this method. It is all on you.

Let's get started. If you are reading this then I assume you already have an AdSense account. The next thing you want to do is get a website. Once you have that fill it up with whatever you want. Just make it interesting otherwise people won't go to it.

After you do all of that it is now time to advertise your website and get traffic it to it. What you want to do is to announce it to all kinds of social networks and also write articles about it. When you write articles it doesn't all need to be about your website. You can actually write about whatever you want. It doesn't even have to be that interesting. All you have to make sure and do is put your link to your website in the author resource box.

I recommend doing about five articles a day. They don't have to be perfect but remember in order to make any kind of money you must work for it. There is no such thing as free money. With a little time and effort you should be able to make a hundred bucks a day in no time.

One more thing to remember is that a lot of people do this. Therefore, it might take you longer than you think. Best of luck to you and hope this works out for you.

One last thing, don't be afraid to fail, we all do from time to time.
